Bug Description

Ubuntu 8.04
After a while, Compiz will stop responding to the keyboard or mouse. The numlock light will go out. When I press the power button, the log out/turn off dialog comes up, but with no keyboard or mouse, I have to hard reboot.
This doesn't happen without Compiz and seems to happen especially when under load (e.g., ripping a CD).

I'm not getting this anymore, it stopped happening. It seemed to be connected with ripping CD's, because as soon as I started one in Rhythmbox or Sound Juicer, that's when it started. I'll change it to invalid and reopen with a log if it happens again.
