Bug Description
Binary package hint: compiz
I'm using Hardy with all the latest updates. When I run a program that needs administrative privileges or I use gksu, after I type my password, the screen still stays dark. I'm guessing this is a bug with compiz, because it works fine with compiz disabled. Also, this worked fine in Gusty. Also, only some of the screen stays grayed, and moving a window or something over it makes it normal, but this should definitely be fixed.

I am having the same problem. It seems that it's not repainting the screen. Using Hardy with latest updates.
