PC freeze - Compiz/xine

If compiz is enabled and xine plays a movie then freeze the complete pc after a few minutes. Mouse, Keyboard, Hardware switch off doesn't run. I does a hard restet of the system and disabled compiz.
System: Ubuntu 8.04 AMD64 (with upgrades)

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Could you please add your ~/.xsession-errors, /var/log/Xorg.0.log and the output of lspci -vvnn to your bug report as separate attachments? Thanks in advance.

I have the same. I'm runing Nvdia ge force 2 mx400. It crashes only when compiz is window manager. I cant submit any errors log, bacause computer need reeboot after starting xine and compiz.
