Bug Description
Binary package hint: compiz
This bug has been occurring since 7.10, but is still present in Hardy 8.04 with latest update. I have wobbly enabled. Compiz grabs the fading wffect as a window, wobbles with Map effect, and the leaves behind window garbaging when the update is active / finished. I believe there may be a setting with CCSM to avoid Compiz grabbing this type of window but I can't recall where.
TEST CASE:
Regression testing should be enough, I was not able to reproduce this reliable, but the fix comes from upstream.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Hardy Heron. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. You can find out more about the development release at http:// www.ubuntu. com/testing/ . Thanks again and we appreciate your help.
