Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

In up-to-date Hardy, on a Dell XPS M1330, when using the touchpad, you can not open the Gnome menus or click on panel icons when the cursor is at the top of the screen. There seems to be a 2 pixel area where the clicks don't have any effect.

I just noticed that this happens at the bottom of the screen too, so perhaps this is actually Synaptics offsetting the cursor!

Thanks for noticing this. Could you also tell me which bug this is a
