Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

I was reconfiguring xorg.conf to use touchpad synaptics on MacBook2.1 and got this error on Compiz after restart X with Ctrl+Alt+Bckspace in order to test the new configuration.
Obs.I am using Hardy 8.04 without xorg.conf and decide to reactivate it to get touchpad functions enabled.

Happened to me twice now. First time was when changing user. I changed user, and in the gdm I chose "quit" when asked for password. It displayed a blank screen.
Second time was when going out of suspend mode. Once again, blank screen.

Ill try to provide a backtrace next time.
