Bug Description

In gutsy I can do work well card ATI RV100 7000. The problem first is the resolution that has remained outside of the screen, but answered with graphics and cards. But the second problem is that with compiz fusion system freezes and I have to reboot my pc with the button off.

Are you forcing compiz to start? The first part of this sounds like something compiz should have caught and refused to start unless you forced it.

No, the truth is that nonforce nothing, begins compiz of natural form, and I do not have to do nothing so that is blocked, simply spend 2 minutes and is blocked. I obtained a temporary solution to the problem: deactivate of the BIOS opening AGP and now it does not block, but certain it is that it does not go loose. Sorry by my english

Hi karlinux,

The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Hardy Heron. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. You can find out more about the development release at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ . Thanks again and we appreciate your help.
