Bug Description
When restoring the system after suspend or hibernate the screen is correctly restored as I can see the screen asking for my password. But the restored desktop is completely corrupted. When I use the Super+E key to change desktop I can see that the desktop is working as the zoom effect is applied, but it is applied to a corrupted screen. The only way I found to exit this state is to kill the X server with Ctrl+Alt+BkSpace.
This is a freshly installed Ubuntu 7.10 Gusty, so with compiz-fusion desktop enabled with standard effects.
I suspect that some parts of the 3D video state is not correctly restored.
Xorg driver is "intel".
