Mouse issue: desktop not processing all mouse clicks

Hello there

Not all mouse clicks of mine are being captured properly. Happens by random. When I click on an UI element, sometimes nothing happens. Then have to click again and then it happens.

When I go to settings > mouse & touchpad and test the settings there, it always works perfect and recognizes all my clicks. That's why I assume it must either have something to do with Ubuntu's windows management, such as compiz or xorg, not sure.

By the way, the xsetpointer output tells me that I have the Microsoft mouse twice (16 + 17) which is wrong but probably not the real cause of this bug
