When having dual-monitor side-by-side and shutting off the right-hand monitor, windows that were on the right side of workspace 1 end up on workspace 2, that's a little annoying but not a big deal. Having dual monitor under-and-over and turning off the top screen (which is the one with the panels), windows (and panels) from the top move to the bottom, windows on the bottom go missing.
