Bug Description
Binary package hint: compiz
Since last compiz update, I had to open, close and then open again a gnome session in order to get the lower panel with the trash icon.
I had used Compiz Config Settings Manager to use 4 workspaces instead of 2 in order to get the cube working.
Maybe it is why I am seeing the bug.
Using AMD64 gutsy up-to-date.

I have same problem with Compiz. I haven't tried to log in again, but to get the panel I just have to click the area at the bottom of my screen where I expect to see the panel.
I haven't used Compiz Settings Manager at all.
I'm using AMD64 up-to-date Gutsy, lspci | grep vga:
