Bug Description
Binary package hint: compiz
Currently running Gutsy Tribe-5 + updates on a Dell PC and Desktop Effects were working. Since applying updates today, desktop effects no longer work.
The following output is what I get when I run gnome-appearanc

I did search first but after submitting this bug, I then discovered that it is a duplicate of Bug #124519. Therefore this one needs to be closed.
