window title bar gigantic

After installing Gutsy Tribe 3, the title bar on all windows is enormous. See attached screenshot. Disabling desktop effects (which is enabled by default on my fresh, clean install) fixes the problem.

Could this be related to problem #107320? I'm having that problem too, and I do have the intel gma chipset.

Also, disabling and then re-enabling desktop effects causes temporary (until reboot) solution to this problem.

A recent update seems to have fixed this problem. After a reboot this is now working fine.

This bug still exist for me, I'm using Gutsy released. In my case, this gigantic font appear at the login screen too and it won't go away no matter how many time i rebooted it. The windows titlebar gigantic font will disappear after logout and log back in but I re-appear after the reboot.
Do we have any fix or workaround on this?

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release?
