Custom shortcuts using super+<a key> only last for current session

Bug Description

per this fix release super+<an unused key> now can be set -
bug 950160

If set in System Setting > Keyboard > Shortcuts > Custom shortcuts it will work for the life of current session but is lost on log out/in or restart

Was the fix only for compiz shortcuts??

setting a super+<unused key> in compiz seems to hold so if that was the only intent then this should be marked invalid or changed to a wishlist to properly enable fix for custom shortcuts also.

Actually no longer see this as an issue in 13.10 & 14.04, settings that are lost there can usually be attributed to compiz & auto sorting plugins (with the notable exception of the commands plugin which over time only holds integrated commands , not user set.

The bug it was duped to was prior to this change anyway & has little chance of being fixed if even still alive so a moot point in any case
