Bug Description
Fresh install of Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS. After some time the Launcher does not show with arrows at the sides of the icons that docs are open for certain programs (certainly Libre Office programs), and once you switch to another application or doc, you cannot click on the launcher to get back to the open document. Instead a new document (in case of Write) is opened. Also Alt-tab does not show (all) programs with open files. The only way to get back to open files is through Dash. I repair this (temporarily) by command line command: unity -- reset. After that the Launcher works normal, until the next time it fails. This is the output of the Terminal after typing the command (please note that the program advices to report a bug):

The terminal does not return to the command prompt and seems to be stuck; but meanwhile the screen is built up anew, and the launcher works for some time

Trying to find package name (as suggested by this site):

But I know that this is Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS.
It happened also in 12.10, which I abandoned for having many other problems.
