Bug Description
I manually upgraded to 12.10 beta 2 from 12.04.1. After all, the windows-manager does not start, and graphics is available only in low-res mode. After starting the terminal and calling compiz, it produced lots of errors and hang, so I terminated it with Crtl+C, which led to the crash reported.
