[fglrx] Low GUI performance, high CPU consumption when fglrx is installed.

Since the moment when Ubuntu was upgraded from 11.10 to 12.04 GUI runs too slow for normal work.
Compiz consumes 21% CPU on idle and up to 90% on a window moving.

Anton,

I see you are using the fglrx driver. Does your video card support the radeon driver?

If you're not sure, then please try:
  1. Run: jockey-gtk
  2. Remove the ATI/AMD driver(s)
  3. Reboot

Then if you find that's no better, do this:
  1. Run: jockey-gtk
  2. Re-install the ATI/AMD driver.

Thanks. I've removed fglrx driver. You're probably right, CPU consuming
dropped to 0-3%. GUI runs much quicker, though it's still not perfect.
The strange thing is that fglrx driver worked in Ubuntu 11.10 without
such problems.

Happens as well for me on Quantal - Lenovo G770 (intel 3000 graphics / radeon 6770 ) - AMD 12.11 beta drivers.
