Bug Description

The "Zoom from Center" setting on the Sidekick effect on Compiz is ignored. Instead, Compiz uses the Zoom effect setting for both effects.

What I was expecting:
On Compiz -> animations -> effect settings -> Sidekick, the "Zoom from Center" setting changes the behave of the Sideckick effect.

What I get:
The option on the Sidekick effect is ignored, but, if I change the same setting on Zoom effect, both Sidekick and Zoom are affected by the setting.

Steps:
Open Compiz-config -> animations -> effect settings
On Sidekick -> "Zoom from Center" select "off". On Zoom -> "Zoom from Center" select "on"
Trigger a Sidekick: the animation starts from the center; trigger a Zoom. The animation starts from the center.
On Zoom -> "Zoom from Center" select "on".
Trigger a Sidekick: the animation starts from the mouse position; trigger a Zoom. The animation starts from the mouse position.
