Bug Description

Whenever I restart compiz, my terminal windows lose their semi-maximized size and position, and they revert back to smaller sizes.

This doesn't happen with other windows like Nautilus or Chrome.

This gnome-terminal misbehaving - it destroys and recreates its own windows whenever the window manager restarts (eg, when it looses compositing). As such, it is racing with the window manager to ensure that the new window will be seen as a window created after the WM starts and not before it.
