Bug Description

When playing a fullscreen game such as Lemmix (a clone of the Lemmings game) in fullscreen using Wine, the mouse pointer disappears or "jumps" around the screen when moved. This may happen immediately or after passing the first level on any rating.

I thought I'd create a new bug report, rather than adding more information to bug #913396 about Unity and Wine conflicting.

I have tested Wine in fullscreen under "Gnome Classic (no effects)" and the problem does not occur.
This problem only occurs when logged in with Unity.

Seems more like a Compiz-related issue. Does it also occur when effects are enabled in Gnome Classic?

Yes this problem also occurs in Gnome Classic when effects are enabled.

It seems that most of the problems with Unity are caused by Compiz?
