Bug Description
In previous Ubuntu versions one could change the width of a window by pressing the key combinations of Compiz' Grid plugin multiple times. For instance, sending a window to "Left" made it fill half of the screen the first time the key combination was pressed. After pressing it a second time, the window took 1/3, then 1/4, then 2/3 and after a fifth keypress it took 3/4 of the screen. For all positions, except Left, Right and Top Right this still works as it should. However, this is no longer possible for Left and Right. The window always fills half of the screen, no matter how often one presses the key combination. This makes efficient window placement quite difficult, because one has to do it manually, since for nearly all use cases, a simple 1/2-1/2-Split is not sufficient. It's also impossible to position a window in the top right corner, for "Top Right" and "Top" both place it just at the Top of the screen (centered).
