Bug Description

After upgrade kernel 6.8.0-56 to 6.8.0-60, USB network interfaces (usbX) are being renamed to Ethernet interfaces (ethX). This change has disrupted network configurations, resulting in nodes being unable to establish successful ping connections.

Issue Origin: The regression is introduced by the mainline commit [8a7d12d674ac6f2147c18f36d1e15f1a48060edf].

A pull request has been submitted to the Linux mainline to address this issue. The mainline PR is [2ea396448f26d0d7d66224cb56500a6789c7ed07] " net: usb: usbnet: restore usb%d name exception for local mac addresses"
