Bug Description

On my system synaptic package manager was installed. Now that disappears after showing up on entering the password.
The system does not open USB in write mode, it will all be in read-only mode [readonly file system mode]
Other partitions also open in read only mode. This is making it difficult for me to work.

This one I was trying to re-install ubuntu 11.10 64-bit that it reported the problem. I do not know whether it is a new bug or not.
