gnome-shell freezes/craches

Happens during different tasks e.g. surfing (w/ and w/o flash), using gnome-shell especially when effects are involved, opening pdfs, ...

Only evidence of a problem I could find was...

[ 575.701173] gnome-shell[3563]: segfault at 28 ip b63aa8d2 sp bfa747d0 error 4 in libcogl.so.5.0.0[b635c000+74000]
... using "dmesg". Makes it impossible to work with gnome-shell.
