This looks like a problem with how perl-tk interacts with your window
manager. Can you please provide information about the versions of perl-tk,
libx11-protocol-perl, and the window manager you are using?

Thank you,
Tony

This looks like an ancient X11 bug that apparently we haven't fixed in Ubuntu yet:

http://www.nntp.perl.org/group/perl.tcltk/2006/09/msg99.html

Note that the fix won't work as-is, since /usr/X11R6/lib/ doesn't exist.

It looks very close to the bug #126741

I loaded 9.04-desktop and the Ubuntu clusterssh package inside a VMware, and it works fine. I feel pretty certain this is an issue with the interaction between the X-server and maybe perl-tk, and that it is not related to clusterssh.
