Bug Description
I have two computers running Linux here. I upgraded one to Jammy; the other one is still running Focal. I tried to open an LAS file in CloudCompare on Jammy and found that it didn't recognize the file type. I ran "ldd `which CloudCompare`" on both computers and found that the one on Focal is linked with libpdal_base.so.9, whereas the one on Jammy is not linked with PDAL, though a later version of PDAL is installed.
It turns out, however, that reading LAS on the latest version of CloudCompare is done by a plugin, which links with LASzip, which also is installed. See http://
I am a land surveyor and develop software that processes point clouds in LAS format, which are used by land surveyors for topographical surveys. I need to upgrade my computer to compile another program, but can't until I have CloudCompare reading LAS files on Jammy.

This is about a deb package, not a snap package.
