Bug Description

Currently the phone_home module allows for the hostname of a machine to be posted but not the FQDN.

I'm happy to make this change myself but I cannot work out how to submit the patch through launchpad. I'll update this if I work it out.

Ollie,
Thanks for the patch.
Can you please sign the canonical contributors agreement (http://www.ubuntu.com/legal/contributors). If you're able to do that today, i might be able to pull this into xenial still.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ping me on irc as smoser or email.
Scott
