Bug Description

Binary package hint: cloc

On oneiric, cloc is reporting its using a deprecated function. Or more precisely, perl is reporting this (but cloc is using a deprecated function and perhaps shouldn't be.)

For example, running cloc against a random C file in my project:

% cloc dalunit/dalunit.c
defined(%hash) is deprecated at /usr/bin/cloc line 1277.
(Maybe you should just omit the defined()?)
       1 text file.
       1 unique file.
       0 files ignored.

Problem seems to be fixed in version 1.55

http://sourceforge.net/projects/cloc/files/cloc/v1.55/

workaround:
download version 1.55 and put it in ~/bin/cloc

This bug can be closed as it's for 1.53 from 2010. There is newer Debian package 1.58-1 (2013) available http://packages.qa.debian.org/c/cloc.html
