clipit does not put in history when receives text from pipe

Hi,

When you do:
echo 1 | clipit
you would expect that "1" is saved in history.
That worked correctly on 18.04.

Now, on 20.04, it does not work (item can not be found in history, ex: when you list history items in GUI)
