If a click package is out of date if you do a channel switch you are left with duplicate desktop files

STEPS:
1. Install image 224 from rtm-proposed on krillin
2. Without upgrading the apps enable developer-mode
3. Run adb shell
4. Run sudo system-image-cli --switch ubuntu-touch/devel-proposed/krillin.en

EXPECTED:
I expect to see the exact same setup on the vivid version as is available on rtm with updated apps etc

ACTUAL:
On the apps scope I see multiple apps have 2 desktop icons, one works as expected the other does nothing.

270 with up-to-date apps → ubuntu-touch/devel-proposed/krillin.en doesn't have the same issue nor does it if I update the apps first then do the channel switch.
