To remove the source: `rm /etc/clamav-unofficial-sigs.conf.d/si-dbs.conf`

That command doesn't work, the file doesn't exist! The only thing on that path is a README file.

Same problem here and, as ferncasado mentioned, /etc/clamav-unofficial-sigs.conf.d/si-dbs.conf does not exist.

For those that don't have /etc/clamav-unofficial-sigs.conf.d/si-dbs.conf, see if /usr/share/clamav-unofficial-sigs/conf.d/00-clamav-unofficial-sigs.conf exists and then try commenting out (or removing) the following.

# SecuriteInfo Database(s)

# Add or remove database file names between quote marks as needed. To
# disable any SecuriteInfo database downloads, remove the appropriate

# Since the SecuriteInfo databases are only updated a few time each
# month, set a time interval to do database update checks.
si_update_hours="4" # Default is 4 hours (6 update checks daily).

Solved the problem for me. I may just remove the package though and go with the github version/option https://github.com/extremeshok/clamav-unofficial-sigs

It looks like that this config entries are still exists in ubuntu 22.04.3 lts. No one is realy maintaining this package as also seen in /usr/share/doc/clamav-unofficial-sigs/changelog.Debian.gz of the package. the latest upstream version from the original author was 10 years ago.
