Bug Description
I installed latex-cjk, which pulled in latex-cjk-common. In /usr/share/
-------
...
(/usr/share/
! LaTeX Error: File `type1ec.sty' not found.
-------
Scrounging around in Contents-i386.gz, I discovered that this file is in cm-super (this package should probably be in the Suggests list for latex-cjk-common.) I installed it and tried again, now I got this:
-------
...
(/usr/share/
LaTeX Font Warning: Font shape `C70/mj/m/n' undefined
(Font) using `C70/song/m/n' instead on input line 49.
! Undefined control sequence.

Ugh, LaTeX error message hell.

This indicates the lack of Korean font (mj) in your system. Please try to apt-get latex-cjk-korean or latex-cjk-all to include default font file for both Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai.
