Bug Description

https://johnnywunder.info/mywiki/index.php/Cannot_access_Buffalo_RAID_server

Cannot access server through cifs after upgrade to 23.04. Other machines and smbclient all still work. Error in kern.log is -22 and on mount command get invalid argument.

Suspect dropping of ntlm in kernel. https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=76a3c92ec9e0668e4cd0e9ff1782eb68f61a179c

Have tried many different mount parameters and none work for Buffalo NAS server.

I've managed to get an updated level of code on the Buffalo NAS and with that and
'cifs credentials=XXX,vers=2.0,iocharset=utf8,dir_mode=0777,file_mode=077,sec=ntlmssp 0 in fstab am able to now access my disks.

You can close this out as far as I am concerned.
