Bug Description

This seems to be a bug which was already there. When we use the DFS from windows it is possible to mount the share with cifs. But the access is only working on the top directory to the subdirectories there are access problems. After ensure the debug is a bit higher, we found out this:
[25928.641680] Status code returned 0xc0000257 STATUS_PATH_NOT_COVERED
[25928.702058] Status code returned 0xc0000016 STATUS_MORE_PROCESSING_REQUIRED
[25928.784991] Status code returned 0xc0000010 STATUS_INVALID_DEVICE_REQUEST
[25929.005820] Status code returned 0xc000003a STATUS_OBJECT_PATH_NOT_FOUND

This issue appear since one week. Maybe this is related to the kernel packages or something, but for reasons I tested older kernels etc and there was the same issue.

Direct storage mount is working, through DFS links it is not.

Please check and fix.

I figured out this, is connected to the 5.4* Kernel. HWE Kernel (5.8*) is working fine. Please fix this.
