Bug Description

Binary package hint: chromium-browser

Shortly after opening chromum-browser, I couldn't find any steps to necessarily re-create the crash, it would just happen. Sometimes when loading the home page (google) and sometimes it would stay open for a few minutes. This particular crashed after I highlighted and tried to right-click. Attached is a gdb backtrace.

Thanks for the trace but we need it with the symbols.
Could you please install chromium-browser-dbg and try to get a new trace ?

(installing libc6-dbg libglib2.0-0-dbg and libgtk2.0-0-dbg should improve the trace too)

Changed in chromium-browser (Ubuntu):
status: New → Incomplete

I tried chromium-browser with --temp-profile and it did not have any issues, it appears to be something in my profile itself. Is it more important to leave the bug report open, or should I just blast my profile and start over?

This looks like a useful bug report. Can you take it upstream? Please include the gdb backtrace with symbols.
