Bug Description
Binary package hint: chromium-browser
I cannot exit "Full Screen Mode" with either the "Exit full screen (F11)" link, or using the F11 button when the browser is maximized on a second monitor which has no gnome panels.
Steps to reproduce:
1: start a browser instance
2: move the browser to a second monitor which has no instances of gnome-panel
3: maximize the window (double click the title bar)
4: press F11
Browser goes into full screen mode
5: press F11 again
Expected behaviour: browser exits full screen mode and returns to maximized
Actual behaviour: Browser refuses to exit full screen mode.
I've tested this on both of my monitors, with different combinations of gnome panels at the top and/or bottom; chromium only refuses to exit when there are NO instances of gnome panel.

I think this is http:// code.google. com/p/chromium/ issues/ detail? id=32347, which was fixed a few weeks ago. Can you try google- chrome- unstable, which should include the fix, to see if it works properly for you? The fix is not in the Chromium 5.x branch. Alternately, you can grab a nightly build from http:// build.chromium. org/buildbot/ continuous/ to test.
