Bug Description

Binary package hint: chromium-browser

Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty) will use global menus for the benefit of vertical space. At the moment, with Chromium running, we see only a generic File -> Close menu.

Chromium should detect if indicator-appmenu is in use and export the relevant menus, perhaps also hiding the wrench icon.

@evan: correct me if I'm wrong but I guess the answer to this bug is the same as the one you did for bug 708704:

If there are good answers to the questions asked there, upstream would like to work with Ubuntu global menu too.

I don't know if this will be completely fixed before Natty ships, but there's now an "Experimental GNOME menu bar support" in about:flags. The menu bar is in flux and I haven't finalized a lot of the details, but there's some support now.
