Bug Description
Binary package hint: chromium-browser
chromium-browser with gecko-mediaplayer hangs randomly on KDE unless gecko-mediaplayer is rebuilt with --without-gconf
See http://
Having installed http://
On the first start of chromium I've got a message saying that the page "Getting started with Google Chrome" became unresponsive. I was not able to reproduce that, but in a while I got the same message for "http://
Rebuilding manually gecko-mediaplayer with --without-gconf had fixed the same issue for me in Karmic.
May be it's possible to have gecko-mediaplayer built with --without-gconf in multiverse for Lucid?

I can confirm this, in fact every single page hangs up if gecko-mediaplayer is installed. If I remove it Chromium works great.
