every time I run google-chrome-stable I get this message:
" google-chrome-stable
Opening in existing browser session.

Are you seeing the same error with the chromium-browser package from the Ubuntu repositories?

Google chrome is built and distributed by Google, bugs should be reported at https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/entry.
