Bug Description
When calling github.com, Chromium does calls to ocsp.digigert.com without honoring proxy settings.
This happens only when calling Chromium from the KDE menu and not at the command line.
I sent a bug report to the Chromium teams, but apparently the problem is not related to Chromium itself:
