The stacktrace suggests a DBus connection is disconnected while processing a message:

https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=718814 seems possibly related. Without an actual user crash report, it's hard to tell when that crash happens though. I have never observed it myself, but it appears to be quite frequent, so confirming the bug.

From possible duplicate bug #1755233, the user reported that « Browser did not gracefully exit », which suggests the crash happens at application shutdown.

It can happen at application shutdown, this has happened at least twice for me.

Thanks for the confirmation Tom. Until now I didn't even know when that crash happened, this will be helpful in reproducing the issue and investigating it.

I can't completely confirm mine was at Chromium app shutdown, but it
probably was, as I also didn't notice it until seeing the crash icon in the
launcher. I usually shutdown a browser app when too tabs have accumulated.
It's the first instance I've noticed on Chromium, which has otherwise been
stable. I use in lieu of FF which is very unstable, and usually crashes
when trying to open a new tab.

I do update daily, so if Chromium becomes a problematic trend, I'd suspect
an update. So far though, Chromium appears rock-solid other than that
glitch.

Duplicate bug #1755054 also strongly suggests the crash happens at shutdown (in that case when rebooting the computer while chromium is running).

Of all the crash reports on errors.ubuntu.com since 2019-01-01 (1352 reports), it looks like the last version exhibiting the problem is 68.0.3440.75.
