Bug Description
This is not a recent issue: googling around "ERROR:

Journalctl is filed with errors like:

With such a case, gnome-shell is freezing until the hdd activity slowdown to normal. Prior all the 4 Gb ram is used and the swap partition is also widely used. This is not expected, ram & swap should be firstly needed by the active tab, not for all the opened ones. Something have to be better programed there.
Is there a way to set file descriptor limit on the user side ?

After googling about that error, i have deleted ~/.config/ chromium/ default/ Extension State
Then with the next reboot, a new 'Extension State' folder has been created, and the previous error is not logged when using many opened tabs. Also there is less memory eaten & less hdd scanning.
note: the old & new 'Extension State' folders have the same rights; so the previous error seems mysterious.
