Bug Description
Navigate to maps.google.com on chromium-browser. All is fine. Type in an address. The map of the address is displayed for just a moment, maybe a half second, then the entire window goes black, except for the inset windows. If you click on "street view", the same thing happens: for just a moment, you see the street view, then blackness. Embedded maps in web sites seem to work. This was all working fine before the last update to chromium. Back in August and September I was using google maps almost every day.

On my system, this is 100% reproduceable. It behaves this way no matter what I've tried, including rebooting.
