Bug Description
Starting chromium-browser and entering the following URL completely freezes the whole browser (not only a tab):

The browser output includes the following suspicious line:
Failed to open VDPAU backend libvdpau_nvidia.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
The process that takes up 100% of the CPU is:
