I am trying to download programming from my baofeng uv5r, using Chirp on Ubuntu 22.04. After the progress bar gets to 100%, I receive the error module 'collections' has no attribute callable.

I'm seeing this exact behavior as well, on Pop-OS (ie. Ubuntu) 22.04, but it's with my Baofeng BF-F8HP, not a uv5r. It looks like it might be using the wrong driver when attempting to communicate, unless the uv5r and bf-f8hp use the same uv5r driver.

Here's logging from log level 3

The chirp package is totally outdated and must be considered broken as it dates in 2020 something, Chirp is updated on a weekly basis.
You will find a updated chirp as a Snap package.
