Bug Description
Binary package hint: cheese
On my Eee900, under cheese, it defaults to using 1280x1024 resolution for the camera. At this resolution, if I try to record video, it takes up ~95% cpu and does not produce anything useful. After recording for several minutes, it only was able to output a few seconds of video with 2 or 3 frames. Setting the resolution to the lowest resolution was the only way I was able to produce something reasonable.
Seems like the default resolution for recording should be much lower.
