Bug Description
Binary package hint: cheese
When Cheese is installed properly through Adept, the program functions as normal but it fails to pick up my Logitech Pro 9000 series webcam input. The webcam works flawlessly in Kopete 0.60.2 as far as I've tested it. However, it fails to work in Cheese. Nothing is displayed other than a video test screen (multicolored screen). On my Kubuntu 8.04 install Cheese works just fine.

Hi!
This is most probably a dup from bug #290506
Could you confirm to us if changing the resolution within cheese properties menu to 176x144 would give you video?
thanks!
