cheese crashes when recording a video

when clicking the button to record a video, cheese crashes.
it can shoot photos normally.

I also experience this issue, unfortunately I'm not at all clued up with these things, but if you need any logs etc. then let me know. This happens on both my laptop and desktop (both 64 bit)

I have the same problem. It worked in 12.04 but crashes in 12.10.
64 bit.
