asus 1015 pem built in camera does not work on cheese

Hello,

I have recently upgraded to Ubuntu 12.10, which is already a great disto good work guys! However, I have an issue with my web cam. While installition, it was possible to use the webcam for taking a photo for my computer account. Then I installed cheese program which allows camera recording but it looks like the software has some problems. My camera does not work with that.

I think this is not a hardware problem but a software one.

Ubuntu 12.10 (quantal) reached end-of-life on May 16, 2014.

Do you still see a problem related to the one that you reported in a currently supported version of Ubuntu? Please let us know if you do and in which version of Ubuntu otherwise this report can be left to expire in approximately 60 days time.
