(posted in comment) ----- TEST CASE for Hardy SRU ------ Install and run checkgmail from the terminal. It will fail to start with this error: "A thread exited while 2 threads were running." Install the package from hardy-proposed. Checkgmail will now start and run as expected. Please note that even with this fix, checkgmail takes considerable time to load due to Bug #249245.
